A nourishing, polishing haircare ritual that makes the hair soft and manageable. Finish includes blow-dry only. Does not include flat iron or curling iron.

SOFT & SMOOTH SILK PRESS BLOWOUT

Our luxe silk press blowout service.

A natural smoothing and disciplinary treatment to obtain brilliant, silky hair. Finish includes blow-dry, thermal smoothing and style.

HYDRATING HAIR WELLNESS BLOWOUT

est. 2.25HR  • $169+

Our luxe silk press blowout service with an intense hydrating blend of botanicals.

This service is intended to replenish dry hair’s optimal hydration and lipid levels. An infusion of phyto-proteins and hydration improves hair elasticity and strengthens and seals the cuticle for soft, moisturized, healthy hair. This service includes a steam treatment during your shampoo followed by a heat-activated custom hair mask. Finish includes blow-dry, thermal smoothing and style.

RESTORATIVE BLOWOUT

This service renews, treats, and nourishes difficult-to-manage hair. Includes everything in the Hydrating Hair Wellness Blowout plus a maintenance cut. Finish includes blow-dry, thermal smoothing and style.

All services include a scalp detox and hair bath to remove dirt and product buildup, an invigorating scalp wellness massage, and a deep penetrating hair mask for an aromatherapeutic sensory experience that will restore your hair’s natural shine and health.
The services above do not include detangling. If detangling is needed, please add on 30 minutes of additional time and book the detangling service.

Cancellations

Please give 24 hours’ notice (or more) if you need to cancel an appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within the 24 hour window will be charged 50% of the scheduled service(s). No-shows & same day cancellations will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. A credit card is required to secure hair appointments.

The Story

SOFT salon was envisioned by entrepreneur and cosmetologist Paris Severino in 2017. 

The blow-dry salon concept neglected the unique needs of women with textured hair. Paris dedicated herself to changing this reality, centering women with textured hair in her business model.

Relying on her cosmetology training at the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C., and her years of experience in business operations, marketing & brand management — Paris mapped out her ideas on a whiteboard in her Bed-Stuy apartment. The original plan was to open SOFT salon in Spring 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic altered the timeline. 

During this time, Paris became a mother. This further deepened her understanding of how challenging it can be to find the time for soft moments, wellness & self-care. 

SOFT is more than just a “blow-dry bar”; it’s a sanctuary for busy executives, work-at-home moms, and everyone in between. 

The SOFT team is committed to nourishing hair care experiences that attend to total hair wellness on time, so you can look & feel beautiful.
